Chapter 2 General Outline

2-1 Features

This device (

SF4-AH

series) is a light curtain with the following features.



It requires no special controller.



The control output (OSSD 1, OSSD 2) is PNP output type.



It has a beam pitch of 20mm (detection capability: 30mm) and can have a sensing

height from 190mm to 1,950mm.



Interference prevention is possible by series connection. (Up to 3 sets, max. beam

channels: 192)



Beam-axis alignment indicators which make beam-axis alignment easy are

incorporated.



It is available to set various functions using the handy-controller (

SF-HC

) (optional).
