Projection TV Firmware Update Via SD Card Slot 

 
This firmware update addresses functionality issues with the optical digital audio 
output.

 

 

Models affected: PT-47WXD63, PT-53WXD63, PT-53TWD63, PT-56TWD63

 

 

Upgrade instructions:

 

GO TO PANASONIC WEBSITE 

WWW.PANASONIC.COM/

1.  Download the zip file (TXFSD01GSER.zip) under Consumer Product / 

Support / Downloads / Projection TVs 

2.  Unzip the file and save it to your SD card (over 16MB is needed) 

Note:

 When unzipping the file, make sure to extract "All files" with "User 

folder names" 

3.  Remove the SD card from your computer. 
4.  Unplug the unit from the wall outlet. 
5.  Insert the SD card into the SD card slot located at the back, which says 

"SERVICE ONLY" 

Note:

 Check the direction of the card when inserting. See below. 

 

6.  Plug the unit into wall outlet, and turn ON the unit.
