4. When replacing 0 resistor, a wire can be substituted for it.
5. When installing the IC2501 (AN3846SC) or Capstan
Stator C.B.A., be sure to apply Silicon Grease (VFK1301). Refer to
"Capstan Stator C.B.A." of MECHANISM SECTION in
DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY PROCEDURES.
6. Since the UHF/VHF TUNER/TV DEMODULATOR UNIT (Ref. No.
743) has already been pre-adjusted at the factory, do not try to
adjust the UHF/VHF TUNER/TV DEMODULATOR UNIT. The UHF/
VHF TUNER/TV DEMODULATOR UNIT replacement part is
available as a complete assembly unit only.
7. EEPROM IC (IC6005), Main C.B.A. replacement note:
After replacing EEPROM IC (IC6005) or Main C.B.A., be sure to
perform the "PG SHIFTER ADJUSTMENT" in ELECTRICAL
ADJUSTMENT procedures.
8. The Capstan Stator C.B.A. (Ref. No. E30) as a service part is
supplied with the Screw installed on it. Please note that there is
no functional difference between the units with or without the
Screw.
9. PV-V4621 replacement note:
There are 2 types of Main C.B.A. (E10) for PV-V4621.
VEPS6073HA is used in early products and has been changed to
VEPS6073HC on running change basis in later products. When
replacing Microcontroller IC (IC6001) or EEP ROM IC (IC6005), be
sure to confirm which Main C.B.A. is used for the unit you are
servicing.
