Changing audio during play

How the type changes depends on when you press the button.
You can change the audio being received or played.

Notes:
• The audio cannot be changed while Time Slip is used.
• You may be unable to change the audio when you have connected the
unit to an AV receiver through the DIGITAL AUDIO OUT terminal and
“Dolby Digital” is set to “Bitstream”. If this occurs:
- Change “Dolby Digital” to “PCM” (p. 69), or “Bitstream.”
- Connect also with an audio cable (pp. 14-15) and change the input on
the receiver.

• “CHAPTER” lights on the Front Display for a few seconds.

• You cannot activate this function when recording and playing at the
same time.

You can change the audio channel number each time you press
the button. This allows you to change things like the soundtrack
language.
• When appears on the screen while a button is being pressed, it means that the corresponding operation is prohibited by
the unit or the disc.
