Rice and Porridge
Boiled rice

Rice auto program
5 dl water
3 dl parboiled rice
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. oil
1. Put the ingredients into a microwave-proof bowl.
2. Cover with a lid or microfilm.
3. Select the rice program.
The weight of the rice can only be programmed in ovens with a
weight program.
4. Separate the rice grains with a fork.
Rice pudding
It easy to cook rice pudding when you use the oven’s auto program, which should ensure that the pudding is cooked successfully
without burning or boiling over. Here are some good tips.
* Fill the bowl up to 3-4 cm from the top.
* Place the bowl on a plate or cake dish so that any milk that boils over can easily be poured back into the bowl.
* Stir the mixture just as the milk comes to the boil. Tip: Use a glass bowl.
* Cook without a lid.

1. Pour the rice and milk into a large microwave-proof bowl (glass).
Do not cover with a lid.
2. Cook on the rice pudding program.
* In ovens with a weight program, select rice + weight of milk.
* In ovens with a sensor program, start the oven.
3. Stir the mix when the oven beeps.
4. When the oven stops add salt to thicken the pudding mix.
Porridge

1 dl oatmeal porridge

pinch of salt
1. Place the ingredients into a suitable bowl and microwave on
1000 watts for 2 min., followed by 2 min. standing time.
2. Stir and add a little salt if desired.
Tip:
If the porridge sets too hard it can be softened with a little cold
water.
