Output specifications
• Melody output
External speaker output (80)
Output capable of expanding only one external speaker
• Max. output: 3W (load impedance of 80)
• Compatible speaker: 80, 3W or more
(Since maximum rated output of a built-in amplifier is 3W, use a speaker with rated output of 3W or more.)
-MtW
1. Only 80 type speaker can be used. A single speaker is connected. High impedance type
(3300, 5000, etc.) is inoperable. When two or more speakers are used, additional speaker
should be expanded using an external amplifier.
2. Do not connect an output terminal to a high impedance type speaker line of the external
amplifier. Failure to observe this precaution may damage an internal circuit.

Melody signal output
Output for external amplifier
• Max. level: O dB variable (load impedance of 6000, unbalanced)
• Compatible amplifier input: -20±10 dB (input impedance of 6000, unbalanced)
For reference: How to make sure of melody signal output
Insert an unprocessed plug into a melody signal jack with a cap removed, and make
measurements of voltage between terminals using a tester, and so forth.
While a knob for melody signal output is turned to maximum level, it is normal if AC
range is of the order of 0.5 to 0.8 V when the melody output is produced.

Since there is not any voltage between output terminals, it is necessary to provide a power
supply separately to control loads.

Load capacity
Loads
Load capacity differs depending on load type. This is because large current (inrush current) will flow through
the amplifier and the electromagnetic contactor and so forth at the instant of closing the contacts, thus
rendering the contacts under loaded condition.
Be sure to observe the values in the Specifications in page 36.
In the case of the loads (TV, etc.) which are not in the "Specifications", make sure that the value of inrush
current is 15A or less by inquiring the load maker of it before using the loads.
If it is more than 15A, use the electro-magnetic contactor, and so forth (Refer to page 31 "Wiring example").
