Recording, Playing and Editing the Melodies
Favorite melodies or announcements can be recorded in the program unit to
automatically sound in the same manner as default melodies.
Infringement of Copyright:
Musical compositions that you recorded may fringe a copyright.
You cannot use them without the permission of the right holder.
• Introduction
Recording, playing and editing operations can be done either "with the program unit attached
to the main unit" or "with the program unit detached from the main unit".
When the recording, playing and editing operations are carried out with the program unit
detached from the main unit, take out a Ni-MH battery for power failure back-up from the
main unit and connect it to the program unit.
When the Ni-MH battery is not
connected, "Battery
unconnected/battery level display"
will be flashed when

position.
In the case of insufficient battery charging, "Battery level
display" will be flashed.
In this case, get back the battery into the main unit and put
the battery on charge, or record, play or edit the melodies
with the program unit installed on the main unit.
If the "Battery level display" persists in flashing after
charging the battery, the life of the battery has expired.
Replace it with a new battery.

Immediately after installation, there may be the cases where the time capable of recording,
playing and editing the melodies is shortened due to self-discharge of the battery.
At this time, either get the battery back into the main unit and put it on charge or record, play
or edit the melodies with the program unit attached to the main unit.

Recorded melodies or announcements
I
Since data retaining time is shortened a little bit on rare occasions after recording due to
properties of flash memory when the number of recording is increased, phenomenon such
as jumpiness or funny sound may occur.
At this time, recordings should be made once again.
I
Note
I
Do not connect other than the power failure back-up battery of the main unit to the program unit.
Failure to observe this precaution may lead to the cause of failure.
