Extension Group Assignment
Description
Assigns each extension to an extension group. Extension groups are used for Group Call
Pickup and Paging – Group.
Selection
•
Jack number: 1-4 (-1/-2), 5-8 (-1)
(-1 = first part, -2 = second part)
•
Extension group number: 01 through 08, ( =all groups)
•
Enable/Disable
Default
All jacks-1/2 — Extension group 1: Enable
Programming
1.
Enter 602.
Display: EXT Group Asn
2.
Press NEXT.
Display: Jack NO?
3.
Enter a jack number.
To enter jack number 1, you can also press NEXT.
To select the second part (-2), press NEXT after entering a jack number.
Display example: #1-1:EG01:Enabl
4.
Enter the extension group number.
You can also keep pressing
or
until the desired extension group number is
displayed.
5.
Keep pressing SELECT until the desired selection is displayed.
6.
Press STORE.
7.
To program another jack, press NEXT or PREV, or SELECT and the desired jack
number.
8.
Repeat steps 4 through 7.
9.
Press END.
Conditions
•
There is a maximum of 8 extension groups. Each extension can belong to more than 1
group.
