• DND does not work for the following calls: doorphone calls; recalls for hold; Timed
Reminder alarm.
• An extension in the DND mode can be called by other extension users who are allowed to
override DND in their Class of Service (Do Not Disturb Override).
• The following extensions cannot set DND: the manager, Call Forwarding (C.FWD)
destination or the DND destination.
• When the extension has set the C.FWD, DND or DND for Direct Dialling In Calls, the
extension cannot be a DND destination.
• Setting this feature cancels C.FWD or DND for Direct Dialling In Calls.
• A flexible button on a proprietary telephone can be assigned as the FWD/DND button.
• KX-T7235 and KX-T7436 users can set or cancel DND with the display operation.
• If an intercom call comes in, the caller hears a DND tone.

• If you receive an incoming outside call in the 1:N status, the CO button flashes red but
does not ring.
