Page Protection
• Auto
The printer first analyzes each page. If a page is complex, Page Protection is turned on
automatically.
• On
The printer does not begin printing until the processor has finished imaging the entire
page. The page then prints correctly, although it takes slightly longer to print.
• Off
The printer begins printing while the processor is making the print image. The printing
speed will be faster than turning the feature on. However, If a page is complex, the print
overrun error may occur.

Error Reporting
When the print command error has occurred, the printer prints the error report by
checking on the Error page check button.

Auto Continue
With this feature turned on, the printer automatically continues the current print job in the
case of certain non-fatal errors.

Metafile Spooling
(Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 2000 only)
Enables to select the print data format to the spooler. EMF (Enhanced Metafile) is
selected by checking on the check box. RAW is selected by removing the check. You
cannot edit the document while the print job of document is being executed. Generally,
EMF data frees up your application program faster than RAW.

Restore Defaults
Resets the Setup tab’s settings to the default settings.
