4.2  PC Connection

You can connect a PC to the Trunk Adaptor either directly or over a LAN using the appropriate method for the
port being used.

When connecting a PC to the Trunk Adaptor, a fixed IP address must be assigned to the PC. For information
about fixed IP addresses, ask your network administrator.

Note

•

Use an Ethernet cable with an RJ45 connector to connect a PC to the Trunk Adaptor.

•

The pin assignments and maximum cabling distance are the same as when connecting a PC to the
MNT port of the KX-NS1000. Please refer to "Connection of Peripherals" in the Installation Manual of
the KX-NS1000 PBX.
