Remote Operation

Operating from a remote location

You can call your unit from a remote location and access the answering device.

Important:

Program the remote operation ID beforehand (feature #11 on page 91).

Set the unit to TAD/FAX mode before going out (page 64).

Use a touch tone telephone for remote operations.

Helpful hints:

Please cut off or make a copy of the card on page 80, and carry the card when you go out.

When you press a key, press firmly.

Press the remote command key within 10 seconds.
