2. Preparation

2.2 Battery charge

Place the handset on the cradle of the base
unit for about 7 hours before initial use.

Note:

Clean the handset charge contacts (

) and

the base unit charge contacts (

) with a dry

cloth once a month, or the batteries may not
charge properly.

Battery strength

During charging, the battery icon on the
handset display is shown as follows.

When the batteries are fully charged,

The handset is automatically turned on when
placed on the base unit.
In normal use, the handset and the base unit
should be powered on at all times.

While the handset is off the base unit, the
battery icon is shown as follows.
