These symbols on the products, packaging, and/or 
accompanying documents mean that used electrical and 
electronic products and batteries should not be mixed with 
general household waste. For proper treatment, recovery 
and recycling of old products and used batteries, please 
take them to applicable collection points, in accordance with 
your national legislation and the Directives 2002/96/EC and 
2006/66/EC.By disposing of these products and batteries 
correctly, you will help to save valuable resources and prevent 
any potential negative effects on human health and the 
environment which could otherwise arise from inappropriate 
waste handling. For more information about collection and 
recycling of old products and batteries, please contact your 
local municipality, your waste disposal service or the point 
of sale where you purchased the items. Penalties may be 
applicable for incorrect disposal of this waste, in accordance 
with national legislation.

If you wish to discard electrical and electronic equipment, 
please contact your dealer or supplier for further information.

the Directive for the chemical involved.

(Management and Handling) Rules, 2011. (adopted by Notification 
S.O.1035(E) of Ministry of Environment and Forests)
The Product is in conformity with the requirements of Rule 13 of the 
e-waste Rules.
The content of hazardous substance with the exemption of the applications 
listed in SCHEDULE II of the e-waste Rules:

The battery pack is designed for supplying power to the Panasonic 

computer series. The battery pack is not charged when it is first 

purchased.

Be sure to charge it before using it for the first time.

 

Before using the battery pack, read this Operating Instructions 

and the relevant portions of the computer’s Operating 

Instructions and Reference Manual carefully.

Precautions

 

Be Absolutely Sure to Use the Battery Pack With the 

Specified Product

If it is used with a product other than the one for which it was 

designed, electrolyte leakage, generation of heat, ignition or 

rupture may result.

 

Do Not Charge the Battery Using Methods Other Than Those 

Specified

If the battery pack is not charged using one of the specified 

methods

Do not Disassemble or Modify the Battery Pack.

Do Not Apply Shocks to the Product by Dropping It, 

Applying Strong Pressure to It, etc

battery pack may result.

 

• If this product is subjected to a strong impact, stop using it 

immediately.

 

Do Not Short the Positive (+) and Negative (-) Contacts

Generation of heat, ignition or rupture may result.

 

• Do not place the battery pack together with articles such as 

necklaces or hairpins when carrying or storing.

 

When the Battery Pack has Deteriorated or If Abnormal 

Swelling Occurs, Replace It With a New One

Continued use of a damaged battery pack may result in heat 

generation, ignition or battery rupture.

 

If a Malfunction or Trouble Occurs, Immediately Stop Use

Generation of heat, ignition or rupture may result.

 

• If the battery pack is deformed or damaged, or is smoking, 

smelling, or extremely hot, immediately remove it from the 

computer.

 

Using this product continuously in a hot environment 

will shorten the product life. Avoid use in these types of 

environments.

 

When using in low temperature environment, battery 

operation time may become short.
