Shutting Down (power off your computer)

Display the shut down screen

Confirm shut down

Select [OK] after selecting [Shut down the computer].

Your computer will power off automatically.

(In the OFF state, if you are not recharging your battery pack or if the pack is fully charged, your computer
consumes approximately 1.5 W.)

NOTE

This procedure is shutting down without using the suspend or hibernation function.

For the computer to automatically shut down after [Shut down the computer] is selected,

taskbar, this indicates that the program is installed.

Using a Modem

Select [Modem] in [Start] - [Settings] - [Control Panel]

Follow the on-screen instructions and have the computer recognize the modem.

Select [Telephony] in [Start] - [Settings] -
[Control Panel]

Input the necessary information (items such as the area code)
and then press [Close].

Under [Dialing Properties], input the necessary information and then
press [OK]
