Installation Instructions
This section describes the procedure for a hanging installation, but the same steps apply for a desktop installation.
First, mount the installation surface bracket (accessory) on the installation surface.
Next, attach the drop‑prevention wire to the installation surface bracket, and mount the unit onto the installation surface bracket.
Mounting the installation surface bracket on the installation surface
• The use of anchor bolts is required for the installation.

Drive the anchor bolts into the concrete ceiling (withdrawal strength of 520 N (52 k
g
f) or more).
2.
Mount the installation surface base.
• Provide the installation surface base that is appropriate for the installation location.
• Prepare an installation surface base that is sufficiently capable of bearing loads of 520 N (52 k
g
f) or more.
• Be sure to mount the installation surface base securely using nuts and flat washers.

Open holes for mounting the installation surface bracket (supplied) to the ceiling board (refer to the installation surface
bracket diagrams).
4.
Attach the installation surface bracket to the installation surface base through the ceiling board.
• Make sure that the mounting screws (M4 screw × 5) you select are of sufficient length, taking into consideration the thicknesses of the ceiling panel
and the installation surface base (supplied by the customer).
• Prepare flat washers and nuts (all supplied by the customer) to ensure the attachment is secure.
