Appendix A. CE Mark Compliance
A.1 Introduction
For CE Mark compliance, the Model XGS868i flow transmitter must be wired in accordance with the instructions in this
appendix.
IMPORTANT:
CE Mark compliance is required only for units intended for use in EC countries.
A.2 Wiring
The Model XGS868 must be wired with the recommended cable, and all connections must be properly shielded and
grounded. Refer to Table 13 for the specific requirements.
Note:
If the Model XGS868 is wired as described in this appendix, the unit will comply with the EMC Directive
2004/108/EC.
