10 - TROUBLESHOOTING
If the pocket hem is creased:
- Check that the claw is clean (see page 16).
- Check the sewing machine infeed system:
check that the sewing machine draws the fabric in smoothly, without raising the foot.
- Check that the shoe of the sewing machine foot is not broken.
If the machine doesn’t start:
- Check that the “START” and “CUTTER” photocell feeders inside the switchboard are efficient.
- Check the fuses inside the switchboard.
- Check that the optic fibre head isn’t dirty.
- Check that the emergency button isn’t engaged. If so, release it and press the auxiliary insertion button.
- Check that the sewing machine door isn’t open. If so, close and then press the auxiliary insertion button.
If the machine starts and then stops:
- Check that the machine has been threaded up correctly; make sure that none of the unthreaded sensors
without thread have been inserted. Thread the machine or turn the relevant sensor to “OFF” as appropriate
and then press button P until end initial sewing.
- If the cutter and the delivery belt don’t work, check the air supply and the efficiency of the relevant photo-
cells.

Check that the motor power supply connector is inserted correctly.

Check the mains voltage (Overload).

Check that the timer connector is correctly inserted in the panel - Check that the machine isn’t
jammed - Check that the encoder connector is correctly inserted in the panel.

Check the motor to ensure that the 4-pin connector is inserted.

Problem with INPUT signals (noise). Check that there is no interference in the software input signals.

Check that the machine isn’t jammed - Check that the timer is connected.

Check that one of the solenoid valves hasn’t short-circuited.
