Perform the following steps to grow plants from seeds using perlite as the growing medium:
7.2 GERMINATION
NOTE:
There is no need to add water to
the growing medium
TIP:
Covering seeds with the cassette covers
improves germination success rate. However,
for most seeds this is optional
Return the cups to the
cassette
Remove the cups from
the cassette
Fill the cups to the top
of the cup holes with
perlite
Place the seeds onto
the perlite
Add additional perlite
until it reaches the top
of the cup
