Resetting Your Treo 700

P

 Smart Device

Soft Reset

Performing a soft reset is similar to restarting a computer. If your Treo 700

P

 smart device is 

not responding or you’re having trouble synchronizing with your computer, a soft reset may 
help. All your information is retained when you perform a soft reset.

1.

Press the 

Battery Door Release

 button and slide the battery door downward to remove 

it from your Treo 700

P

 smart device.

2.

Use the tip of the stylus to gently press the reset button on the back of your Treo 700

P

 

smart device.

Tip:

If your device still does not respond after a soft reset, you may need to do 
a system reset or a hard reset. See the
