Process of tightening
When tightening the screws, it is necessary to observe a specific order (see example on the
following illustration). The opposite screws have always to be tightened at the same time.
Furthermore, it is important that the stability class and the tightening torque of the used screws are
kept.
Put all screws in place and tighten them by hand. All screws must be running smoothly.
Step 1 (A):
Tighten the first screw lightly.
Indicate the first screw with (1.1).
Tighten the opposite screw lightly.
Indicate the second screw with (1.2).
Tighten the screw which is at 90° to the first one lightly.
Indicate the third screw with (1.3).
Continue tightening the other screws lightly and stick to the order displayed in the previous illustration.
Indicate the screws with (1.x…).
Step 2 (B):
Using a manual torque wrench, tighten the first screw up to 100% of the maximum torque.
Indicate the first screw with X.
Using a manual torque wrench, tighten every screw clockwise one after the other up to 100% of the
maximum torque.
Caution!
Make sure it is a dry assembly and observe the tightening torques of the screws.
