Preparation for base assembly
•
Lay out all screws and check their lengths, diameters, quality and quantity.
•
Lay out all washers and check their diameters and quality.
•
Lay out all nuts and check their sizes.
•
Clean all screws of any oil and grease to assemble them in a dry status.
•
Lay out the respective technical data sheets including the tightening torques of the crane type in question. The
illustrations are based on a manual torque wrench.
•
Check the status, function, and calibration of the torque wrench.
•
Prepare small labels to indicate the order of the screws.
•
Step, 1 screw, x-screw number (1.1) (1.1 – 1.x, 2.1 – 2.x, 3.1 – 3.x, 4.1 – 4.x)
•
While putting the crane onto the crane support all necessary cables and lines must be pulled through the
crane support and laid in the cable ducts provided.
•
The supplied assembly screws must be used correctly (see the following illustration).
