IMPORTANT - If, within one minute 

after the green light has come on, the 

motor fan does not begin running, shut 

the unit off, unplug the cord and contact 

PackTite™ at [email protected].  

(This is an indication that the unit may 

have been damaged during shipping).

the cord from the outlet, unzip the flap 

and wait 5 minutes before removing 

items.

Scientific studies report the lethal 

temperature for bed bugs as 113º F 

(adults) and 120º F (all life stages). 

Monitor the 

temperature of the 

items being treated to 

insure that the internal 

temperature of all 

items being treated 

reaches 120º F and 

holds that temperature 

for 60 minutes.

 

Luggage: 

 Luggage 

contents typically reach 

lethal temperatures within the standard 

4-hour treatment period.  Place the 

thermometer probe in the center of the 

packed suitcase.   You may wish to treat 

for more than 4 hours to insure that 

the contents are held at 120º F for 60 

minutes.
