Checks
These points should be explaned to the farmer when handing over the installation after commissioning.
The list below provides an overview of all the checks that should be carried out regularly:
Check the milk temperature at the end of each milking and when leaving the milking room.
Check the milk outlet pipe and complete tank after each cleaning.
Check all the water supply pipes, valves and taps for leaks.
Check the oil level of the compressor using the sight-glass. The level should be at least 1/4 of the sight-
glass.
Check the sight-glass in the cooling circuit. You should not be able to see any vapour bubbles ones the
system works for minimum 0.5 hours.
Check the operation of the agitator.
For IB tank only: check if there is sufficient water in the ice water reservoir: ± 1 cm below the overflow
pipe.
