Removing the Touchpad FFC
IMPORTANT:
The touchpad board cannot be removed individually. To replace the touchpad board, replace the
entire upper cover.
1.
See “Removing the Upper Cover” on page 66.
2.
Remove the adhesive tape securing the touchpad FFC to the touchpad board.
3.
Lift the FFC to detach the adhesive securing the cable to the upper cover.
4.
Release the FFC locking latch and disconnect the touchpad FFC from the connector.
