Surround Installation/Removal Instructions
The surround (Figure 47) attaches to the unit once the surround backing plate (Figure 48) has been installed.
The surround easily fits into place by connecting all four of its hooks.
Removal
1. Remove the surround by lifting it from the backing plate and set aside.
2. Remove the backing plate by moving it away from the fireplace. Be sure to disconnect the wire on the left-
hand side of the backing plate. This wire attaches the switch to the interior of the fireplace.
Installation
Installation is the reverse of removal.
