Viewing Restrictions
The
Viewing Restrictions
screen lets you specify the programme categories that
cannot be viewed unless your PIN is entered. Viewing restrictions can be
applied only to programmes where the broadcaster provides category-
restriction information.
To restrict a category of programme, complete the following steps:
1 Highlight
Viewing Restrictions
on the
Parental Control
screen, then press
select
.
The
Viewing Restrictions
screen appears.
2 Highlight the category you want to restrict, then press the
Restrict
(
red
) key.
A padlock marks a category you have restricted.
Restricting one category restricts all those below it. For example, if you
restrict the category
15 years or Over (15)
,
Adult Viewing (18)
is automatically
also restricted.
3 When you have finished setting or changing viewing restrictions, press
select
.
You now have to enter the PIN to watch programmes in restricted categories.
To remove a restriction, highlight the category, then press the
Unrestrict
(
red
)
key. The padlock is removed.
