Troubleshooting
DANGER!

Unauthorised repairs can lead to the equipment not functioning correctly. This
can lead to personal injury or environmental damage.
Functional faults are aften due to minor faults. Most faults will be easily remedied. See
the table below before contacting the supplier.

Solder tin does not warm
up and melt.
No power.
Check the power supply
(plug) functions correctly.
If required, seek help from
a qualified professional.
The cable or connector is
damaged.
Have a qualified
professional replace the
cable.
The solder tin does not
flow evenly.
The temperature is too
low.
Adjust the temperature.
The soldering iron tip is
loose.
Switch off the soldering
iron station and allow it to
cool down completely.
Screw securely the
soldering iron tip in the
soldering iron tip holder.
Disposal
The equipment and its packaging must not be disposed of with
ordinary household waste because of environmental considerations.
The material must be sorted and disposed of in accordance with
applicable local regulations.
The packaging consists of cardboard and recyclable
plastic. Ensure that the materials are recycled.
