Important! Always keep both hands on the driver and maintain the downwards
pressure of 5–6 kg while the post is driven into the ground!
•
Ensure that the driver’s cylinder does not come into contact with the ground; this will
remove the downwards pressure and can cause the driver to become damaged.
•
Once the post has reached the desired depth, completely release the throttle and
carefully remove the machine from the post, go to the next post and repeat the above
procedure.
Important! Always completely release the throttle to stop the driver movement before
removing the machine from the post.
The machine can be left running, as it is not necessary to switch on/off the machine.
Filling the petrol-driven post driver with petrol
•
Always switch off the machine - set it to “OFF” and allow sufficient time for the machine
to cool down before filling with petrol. Always use standard lead-free petrol.
Important! Never fill the engine with petrol while it is operating or hot.
•
Fill with petrol on a level surface and avoid spilling petrol on the engine. If any petrol is
spilled, allow sufficient time for it to evaporate before restarting the engine.
•
Ensure that the petrol cap is safely secured before restarting the engine.
Important! Fuel vapour is extremely combustible and can cause serious or fatal injury
if ignited by an ember or excess heat from a hot engine.
