Saw chain.
The cutting teeth must be sharpened when:
•
The sawdust becomes powdery.
•
You need to use extra force for sawing.
•
The cutting path is not straight.
•
Vibrations have increased.
•
Fuel consumption has increased.
Maintaining the saw chain:
Before filing:
•
Make sure the saw chain is held securely.
•
Make sure the motor has stopped.
•
Use a round file of the correct size for the chain.
Place the file on the cutting teeth and push straight forward. Hold the file in the
position shown in the diagram.
After filing each tooth, check the depth measurement and file it to the correct level as
shown in the diagram.
