OPERATION

Adjustable Depth Stop

Your tool is equipped with a depth stop (21). As the cutting disc (7) wears, or when
replacing a cutting disc (7) it will be necessary to make this adjustment.

TO RAISE CUTTING DISC (7), loosen the nut on the depth stop (21) and rotate the
bolt counter clockwise.

TO LOWER CUTTING DISC (7), rotate the depth stop (21) clockwise. To maintain the
adjustment, securely tighten the nut on the depth stop (21).

Always adjust the depth stop (21) to the original position when replacing the cutting
disc (7), ensuring that the cutting disc (7) does not protrude more than 30mm past the
base (13) surface.

Vice operation

To release the vice when it is clamped tightly, turn the vice handle (12) counter
clockwise one or two turns to remove clamping pressure. Lift the quick-release vice
lock (19) up. Pull the vice screw (11) out as far as desired. Slide the vice (10) into the
work piece. Engage the quick-release vice lock (19) and the tighten the vice (10) onto
the work by using the vice handle (12).

Cutting depth

The fence (10) can be adjusted by loosening the two bolts attaching it to the base (13)
and moving it backward or forward. Always tighten the two bolts after making any
adjustments.

To obtain maximum cutting depth when the cutting disc (7) is lowered all the way down,
position the fence (10) so the material being cut is centered under the cutting disc (7).

Angle adjustment

Loosen the two bolts attaching the fence (10) to the base (13).

Align the desired angle on the fence (10) with the index line in the base (13) and
securely tighten the bolts.

Cutting

Warning!

Do not attempt to cut wood or masonry with this saw. Never cut

magnesium or magnesium alloy with this tool. Failure to comply with this
warning could result in serious personal injury.

1. Firmly secure the material to be cut using the saw’s vice (10).

Warning!

Large, circular, or irregularly shaped material may require

additional means of clamping to be secured in place adequately for cutting.
Use C clamps and blocks to hold material securely. Failure to comply could
result in serious personal injury.

2. Start the saw by sliding the lock-off button (3) and pulling the switch (2).

Note:

Allow the cutting disc (7) to come up to full speed before contacting cutting

disc (7) to material.
