3. Slowly push down on the switch handle (1) until cutting disc (7) contacts the

material being cut. Use a steady and even pressure to obtain a uniform cut.
Never force the cutting disc (7) into the material.

4. When the cut is complete, release the switch (2) and allow the cutting disc (7)

to stop before raising it to the full open position.

DANGER!

Do not touch the cut material until it cools or you will be

burned. Failure to heed this warning will result in serious personal injury.

Transtporting the tool

The lock-down chain (20) is attached to the tool base (13) and the side of the
motor arm to allow the tool to be transported or stored safely.

To store or transport the tool, lower the switch handle (1) and loop one of the links
of the lock-down chain (20) over the hook attached to the motor arm.

Operating tips

Allow the cutting disc to do the cutting. Excessive force will cause the cutting disc
to glaze reducing the cutting efficiency and/or to deflect causing incorrect cuts.

Make sure material is lying flat across the base.

During the cutting operation, DO NOT apply excessive force to the extent
that the motor slows down.

To prevent overloading the motor, it is recommended that only single purpose
cutting discs be used.

Overloading the motor due to excessive force and/or using incorrect cutting
discs will void the warranty.

Keep the ventilation slots of the metal cut-off saw clean at all times and
prevent any foreign matter from entering.

If the housing of the metal cut-off saw requires cleaning do not use solvents
but a moist soft cloth only.

The grease in the gearbox will require replacement/replenishment after
extensive use of the circular saw. Please see a power tool repairer to provide
this service.

Blow dust from the saw through the rear ventilation slots with compressed air
periodically to ensure a dust free tool.

Warning!

Make sure the tool operates properly. Periodically check

screws and bolts for tightness. Apply dry lubricant monthly to the
moving parts to extend machine life.

NOTE: Ozito Industries will not be responsible for any damage or injuries
caused by the repair of the metal cut-off saw by an unauthorised person or by
mishandling of the tool.
