TROUBLE SHOOTING

A noticeable spark
appears when starting
or stopping use.

This is a normal part of operation of a tool.

SYMPTOM

SOLUTION

Button will not depress.

The safety-lock switch may be in the locked position.
Move it to the unlock position and try again.

Button depresses but
pump does not work.

The pump is dependant on sufficient charge in the
battery pack. The battery charge will deplete if not used
for a long period of time. Try recharging the battery pack.

The air pump body gets
hot after extensive use.

Under normal use conditions, this is normal. Allow the
pump to cool for 5 minutes.

The battery pack gets
warm during use.

The power from the battery creates heat. The battery pack
will not be damaged. Allow the pump to cool for a short
period of time.

The battery pack
and/or charger gets
warm when charging.

This is normal as a result of the stepping down of the
chemical reactions inside the batteries during the
charging process.

Battery won’t charge.

Check to see that the battery is properly inserted into the
charging base, and make sure the indicator light is on.

Light on charge isn’t
showing.

The charger plug may not be properly inserted into the
charging stand or the plug may not be connected with
the main power outlet.
