Assembling the 12V Cigarette Lighter Adaptor
The Ozito Cordless Air Pump can be powerd by the 12V battery pack (5) or from
the 12V cigarette lighter adaptor (13) supplied with the air pump.
1. To operate with the 12V cigarette lighter adaptor (13), remove the 12V battery
pack (5) from the base air pump.
2. Plug the charger jack at the end of the 12V cigarette lighter adaptor (13) into
the 12V cigarette lighter adaptor jack socket (18) located on the underside of
the base.
3. Turn your car key to the ignition (ALL) position and plug the 12V cigarette
lighter adaptor (13) into the 12V cigarette lighter socket of your vehicle.
4. The air pump will operate from the 12V cigarette lighter adaptor (13) without
the 12V battery pack (5) connected.
Assembling Extension Hose
1. Unscrew the locking collar (1) anti-clockwise.
2. Insert the male threaded end of
the flexible extension hose (9)
through the locking collar (1) and
into the rubber sleeve (Fig.4).
3. Screw the flexible extension hose
(9) into the rubber sleeve until the
crimped silver flexible extension hose (9) fitting touches the locking collar (1).
4. Tighten the locking collar (1) clockwise until finger tight (Fig.5).
Inserting/Removing Accessories
1. Remove the accessory adaptor (10,11,12) from the
accessories holder (6) at the base of the air pump.
2. Hold the brass section of the flexible extension hose (9)
stationary, while screwing in the male threaded end of
the accessory clockwise until finger tight.
NOTE:
Do not use pliers or multigrips to tighten accessories
as this action risks stripping the thread.
Caution:
DO NOT cross thread when assembling the accessories. Doing so can
damage the thread.
