VI.
The camera should be offered up to the pre-drilled mounting point and the lanyard
attached to the lug provided.
VII.
The ethernet and power cables should be attached to the connectors in the base of
the camera, taking care to orientate correctly and the connector locking nuts should
be tightened by hand.
VIII.
The power cable should be routed from the PTZ unit to the PSU, being supported
and protected throughout its length.
IX.
The ethernet cable should be routed from the PTZ unit to the control system, being
supported and protected throughout its length.
X.
The camera base should be bolted to the installation point using M8 stainless steel
screws of a suitable length with stainless steel nuts and plain washers. (Provided in
mounting bracket kits). Care should be taken not to damage the paint during
installation as this will cause corrosion of the housings.
XI.
When the camera is installed and before power is connected, rotate the camera
slowly
by hand to ensure that it is free to move in all directions.
XII.
Check security of all fixings.
