To guarantee a perfect operation
of the “Unibox E BV”, the direction
of flow must be strictly observed
when installing the pipework and
the “Unibox”.
1. Remove the protection cover of the “Uni-
box E BV” (you must refit the protection
cover after commissioning) and place the
“Unibox E BV” into the wall at the desired
location.
Use a pipe conduit unit to facilitate
installation.
2. Use the enclosed brackets (see section1.2
on page 23) to align and fix the “Unibox
E BV”.
3. Provide a branch off from the supply pipe
of the two pipe system.
4. Connect the branch pipe to the “Unibox E
BV”. Observe the direction of flow marked
on the valve body.
5. Lay the surface heating circuit starting from
the “Unibox E BV”.
Lay the heating circuit in a spiral
pattern to achieve an even heat
distribution.
6. Provide a connection pipe from the surface
heating circuit to the return pipe of the
system.
7. Commissioning
7.1 Filling, bleeding and leak
testing
1. Fill the heating system.
2. Bleed the heating system (for instance at
the valve of the “Unibox E BV”).
3. Carry out a leakage test in accordance with
DIN EN 1264.
4.
Refit the protection cover of the “Unibox E
BV” (see Illust. 1 on page 23).
