Oventrop Stainless Steel Indirect Solar Hot Water Tanks
Indirect single and dual coil domestic hot water storage tanks are made in 60-, 80-, and 115-gallon models. Each
tank has bottom heat exchanger coil connection for solar heat transfer.
Please read the Installation, Operating and Service Instructions Manual, placed with the tank.

The units are provided with one 3/8” ID thermal well for installation of the solar tank sensor.
Quality Design and Construction
Tanks and coils are all stainless steel.
Includes over 2” of urethane insulation, R-12.
Thermoplastic jacket will not rust or corrode.
All connections are 1” on top.
Tank ports are clearly marked.

Locating the Water Heater
The water heater should be located in an area where water leakage from the tank or connections will not result in damage to
areas adjacent to the water heater or to lower floors of the structure. When such a location cannot be avoided, a suitable drain
pan must be installed under the water heater, and the drain pan must be connected to a drain.
The water heater should be installed as close to the back-up hot water heater or boiler as is practical for easy access for service.
The unit is designed for installation on combustible flooring and in alcoves, closets, etc.
