Collector clips
are designed to make Oventrop flate plate collectors
versitle enough to mount on strut channel assemblies, especially those
with locking strut nuts or locknuts.
Required but not provided are strut channel, strut locknuts, bolts and washers.
Usually the Collectors are attached and secured to two horizontal load bearing strut channels
placed 1 - 2 ft. in from the collector ends.
See figure below.
To connect the clips to the strut channel raise the collector onto the installed horizontal strut.
Attach the collector to the strut by using a collector clip, a bolt and a strut locknut.
Each collector has four mounting clips.
