14.2 Pulse Output at Error/Alarm
This function is to report a specific error or alarm (*) that arises during measurement by means of pulse output
frequency.
Pulse output is changed to one of the following specific frequencies.
Zero (standard setting) : Stops pulse output (0Hz).
Hold
: Continues outputting the frequency just before the occurrence of error/alarm.
Up scale
: Outputs the pulse frequency corresponding to the flow rate where instant flow rate
is 110% of the measurement range.
No assignment
: Outputs the frequency corresponding to the instant flow rate indication regardless
of the occurrence of error/alarm.
After clearing error/alarm, normal output restores automatically.
NOTE: * For the error/alarm that occurs when normal measurement becomes unavailable, refer to "20.
ERROR/ALARM STATUS LIST".
Factored pulse mode
In this method, flow rate per pulse is specified.
This mode is used when pulse output is entered to the total counter, etc.
The output frequency is determined by the following formula (when instant flow rate unit is L/min and total
flow unit is L).
Output frequency (Hz) = Instant flow rate (L/min) / 60 / Pulse weighting (L/P)
Set the output frequency so that at the time of maximum flow is 10kHz or less.
Frequency exceeding 11kHz cannot be output.
■
Setting frequency factor (Set in the case of frequency pulse mode)
The frequency to be output when instant flow rate reaches the flow factor setting value. (10Hz
(recommended) to 10kHz)
■
Setting flow rate factor (Set in the case of frequency pulse mode)
Set the flow rate for outputting the frequency factor set value.

■
Setting pulse weighting (Set in the case of factored pulse mode)
Set the flow rate per pulse.
