7.1 Maintenance

YourproducthasbeenprovidedwiththeCEmarking.Themanufacturerherewithguarantees

thatthismedicaldeviceasawholeconformstotherequirementsoftheEuropeanDirectivefor

MedicalDevices93/42/EEC.
Theproperfunctionofthewheelchair,especiallyofthewheellocksandbrakes,shouldbe

checkedbeforeeveryuse.Safetynutsshouldbeusedonlyonce.Iftheyhavebeenloosened

severaltimes,thesenutsmustbereplaced.
Ifyounoticeanydefects,pleasecontactyourauthorisedspecialistdealerimmediatelyinorder

tohavethemcorrected.Thisisparticularlyimportantifyounoticethatthedrivingcharacteris-

ticschangeorthewheelchairbecomeslessstable.

We also recommend that you have the

wheelchair maintained regularly at 12-month intervals by your authorised specialist dealer.
