5 Washing instructions
1) Remove detachable bars.
2) Close all Velcro
©
fasteners.
3) Wash at 40 °C / 104 °F using a laundry bag, if possible.
4) Rinse thoroughly so that all residual detergent is removed.
5) Stretch while wet, and then dry.
6) Insert the bars (Abb. 4)
Product numbers and letters on the bar must be visible from the outside:
LA stands for left outside
LI stands for left inside
RA stands for right outside
RI stands for right inside
6 Further Usage Restriction
The product is designed for use on one patient only. Re-use of the product
is not permitted.
The daily duration of use and period of application are dependent on the
medical indication.
7 Liability
The manufacturer’s warranty applies only if the device has been used
under the conditions and for the purposes described. The manufacturer
recommends that the device be used and maintained according to the
instructions for use.
8 CE Conformity
This device meets the requirements of the 93 / 42 / EEC guidelines for medi-
cal devices. This device has been classified as a class I device according
to the classification criteria outlined in appendix IX of the guidelines. The
declaration of conformity was therefore created by Ottobock with sole
responsibility according to appendix VII of the guidelines.
