SOFTENING BUTTER
1. Cut sticks of cold butter into approx. 1” cubes and place them into the mixing bowl with
sugar.
2. Optional: If you want to start softening butter before mixing, simply press the On/Off
button for HeatSoft™ technology . For best results, always use splash guard when
utilizing temperature selections. (See section “HOW TO USE THE SPLASH GUARD”).
3. To soften butter while mixing, turn the speed control knob to turn the mixer on. Press
the HeatSoft™ technology on/off button . The default temperature selection will be
soften ‘Suavizar’. Start at speed setting 1 for approx. 45 seconds or until there are no
more large chunks of butter. Then turn to speed 3 for the remainder of time
recommended in the table.
NOTE:
When the HeatSoft™ feature is functioning, a white light will illuminate and the
heat fan will turn on.

* When using the HeatSoft™ function, the soften (Suavizar) temperature will
automatically turn off after 3.5 minutes.
CAUTION:
Do not touch or hold your hand beneath the heat nozzles while
the HeatSoft™ feature is ON. Do not touch hot surfaces, such as the bowl and
accessories. Allow to cool before handling.
NOTE:
Turn off the HeatSoft™ feature after the amount of time listed in the chart
above to avoid over creaming the batter.
4. Once the creaming is completed press the HeatSoft™ button again to turn off the
heat and the white light will fade out and the fan will turn off.
5. Continue mixing your batter with the rest of the ingredients following the recipe.
