IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should 

always be followed, including the following:

Read all instructions before using.

1.    Make sure the voltage in your outlet is the same as the voltage 

indicated on the appliance’s rating label. 

2.    To protect against risk of electric shock, do not immerse the cord, plug 

or cooking unit in water or any other liquid. 

3.    Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handle or knob.

4.    This appliance should not be used by children. 

5.    Extreme caution must be exercised when any appliance is used near 

children. 

6.    Do not use appliance unattended. 

7.    Unplug from wall outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to 

cool before cleaning or storing this appliance. 

8.    Never yank the cord to disconnect the cooking unit from the outlet. 

Instead, grasp the plug and pull to disconnect.

9.    Do not operate any appliance if the cord is damaged. Do not use this 

appliance if the unit malfunctions, if it is dropped or has been 

damaged in any manner. 

10.  In order to avoid the risk of an electric shock, never try to repair the 

appliance yourself. Take it to an authorized service center for 

examination and repair. An incorrect reassembly could present a risk of 

electric shock when the appliance is used.

11.  The use of accessories or attachments not recommended by the 

manufacturer may cause fire, electrical shock or injury. 

12.  Do not use outdoors or for commercial purposes. 

13.  Do not use this appliance for purposes other than the one for which it 

was designed. 

14.  Do not let the electrical cord hang over the edge of the table or 

countertop, or touch hot surfaces. 

15.  Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or heated oven. 

16.  Use on a heat-resistant, flat level surface only. 

17.  Use extreme caution when moving any appliance containing hot food, 

water, oil or other liquids. 

18.  Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To 

disconnect, turn any control to “off”, then remove plug from wall outlet.

19.  When using this appliance, provide adequate ventilation above and on all 

sides for air circulation. Do not allow this appliance to touch curtains, wall 

coverings, clothing, dish towels or other flammable materials during use.

20.   Do Not Cook on Broken Cook-Top – If cook-top should break, cleaning 

solutions and spillovers may penetrate the broken cook-top and create a 

risk of electric shock.

21.   Clean Cook-Top with Caution – If a wet sponge or cloth is used to wipe 

spills on a hot cooking area, be careful to avoid steam burn, some 

cleaners can produce noxious fumes if applied to a hot surface.

22.   Do not place metallic objects such as knives, forks, spoons and lids on the 

Cook-Top since they can get hot.

23.   (1).  This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits 

for a Consumer ISM equipment, pursuant to Part 18 of the FCC Rules. 

These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against 

harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment 

generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not 

installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause 

harmful. interference to radio communications. However, there is no 

guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation.

    (2).  Please note that changes or modifications of this product is not 

expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could 

void the user's authority to operate the equipment.

     (3).  If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or 

television reception, which can be determined by turning the 

equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the 

interference by one or more of the following measures: 

      

-- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna. 

      

-- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver. 

      

--  Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different 

from that to which the receiver is connected. 

      

--  Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help. 

     The device complies with part 18 of the FCC rules.
