ATTACHING THE CARRYING STRAP (Fig. 1)
Thread the wrist strap through the carrying strap eye, then feed the other end
through the loop and pull tight.
INSERTING THE BATTERY
Use a single lithium battery type CR123A or DL123A (3V).

1. Slide the battery compartment cover lock in the "Open" direction and open the
cover. (Fig. 2)

2. Insert a fresh battery with +-terminal pointing outwards. Then close the cover. (Fig. 3)

We recommend that only a fresh battery of the same type is used to replace
the old battery.

Only remove the battery from the camera when you wish to replace it.
CHECKING THE CHARGE STATUS OF THE BATTERY
The charge status of the battery in the camera can be checked each time the
power is switched on or by pressing the shutter release button half down. The battery
status is displayed on the liquid crystal display.

1. The "Battery full" symbol appears if the battery status is good.

2. If the battery is almost discharged then the "Battery half full" symbol appears. If
this symbol appears then the voltage present is still sufficient for at least one more
complete film (36 exposures).
