Engage the diff lock lever depending on the operational
conditions.

Note:

Shift to the [OFF] position when operating on flat ground
in good conditions.
When operating on slopes or soft ground, shift the diff
lock lever to the [ON] position.

5.

Shift the throttle to the [    (HI)] position.

6.

Push down and then hold the operator presence lever.
While pushing the Blade safety lock lever, pull the Blade clutch 
lever up until it is in the [ON] position.

Exercise caution as blades are rotating.

7.

Start driving by operating the speed change lever.
You can change speeds while driving or mowing.

Start at a slow speed and then gradually increase to a safe 
speed

Always mow in forward. Mowing in reverse may not only 
provide an insufficient cut, but also increases the risk of 
thrown objects.

How to stop

Please do not leave the machine while the engine is running.  If you need to leave the machine,
park it on a flat, level suface, stop the engine and leave the operator presence lever in [OFF] 
position so that the parking brake is engaged. The movement of the unattended machine may 
cause accident or injury.

Release the operator presence lever. Make sure the lever is
all the way up.

2.

The blade clutch lever will automaticaly release, diesengaging
the blade. 

The blade may not stop immediately.  
Do not place hands or feet in the cutting deck. 

3.

To stop the engine.
Shift the throttle lever to the [       (LOW)] position and
then shift it to the [STOP] position to stop the engine.
