c) Give your 8382 a name (e.g., “KABC”)
by entering this name in the “8382
Alias” field.
d) If you wish to have 8382 PC Remote
remember the password for this
Optimod, enter the password in the
“Password“ field.
e) Select “Serial Connection.”
f) Click the “Add” button.
g) Choose “Connect directly to another
computer.”
h) Click “Next.”
i) In the drop-down box, select the serial
port you will be using to make the
connection.
j) Click “Next.”
