characteristics  (mechanical  stress

-  shock  and  vibration,  plant,  animal,

weather) are negligible for the effect on

the correct and safe use of electrical

equipment.

1.3 Electrical safety

•  Before  connecting  the  device  to  the

mains for the first time, check that the

mains voltage indicated on the device

label corresponds to the mains socket

voltage.

•   The electric device is designed for 230

V ~ power supply.

The  electrical  safety  of  the  device

is  guaranteed  only  if  it  is  correctly

connected to the mains.

•   Use only the power cord with the plug

(power cord) supplied with the device

and compatible with the power socket.

Use of another lead may result in fire

or electric shock.

•   Always connect the device to an easily

accessible  AC  socket.  In  the  event

of a malfunction, the device must be

switched  off  and  disconnected  from

the mains as soon as possible.

•   Do not unplug the power cord / pulling

on the lead / cord. To disconnect, pull

out the power cord / power cord plug.

•   If  you  use  an  extension  lead,  make

sure that the total ampere rating of all

devices  connected  to  the  extension

lead  does  not  exceed  the  extension

cord‘s maximum current rating.

•   If  you  must  use  an  extension  power

lead  or  power  supply  block,  ensure

that  the  power  extension  lead  or

power supply block is plugged into an

electrical  socket  and  not  to  a  power

socket.  an  extension  lead  or  power

supply  block. The  power  extension

lead  or  power  supply  block  must  be

designed  for  grounded  plugs  and

plugged into a grounded power socket.

•   The  power  cord  plug  of  the  device

must  be  compatible  with  the  power

socket.  Never  use  any  adapters  or

otherwise  modify  the  socket.  Do  not

use unsuitable and damaged sockets.

•   To  prevent  electric  shock,  connect

the device‘s power cables to properly

grounded  electrical  sockets.  If  the

device is equipped with a 3-pin power

cord, do not use adapters that do not

have a grounding element or remove

the grounding element from the plug

or adapter.

•   Do  not  bend,  press  or  otherwise

expose  the  device/  power  cord  to

mechanical  stress  or  external  heat

sources.  Damage  to  the  power  cord

may result in electric shock.

•   If the power cord is damaged, unplug

the device and do not use it again. If the

power lead / power cord is damaged, it

must be replaced by the manufacturer,

its service representative, or a qualified

person  to  avoid  the  risk  of  electric

shock.

•   Regularly  inspect  and  maintain  the

electrical device as well as the power

cord. Unplug the power cord regularly

and clean as necessary. Contamination

by  dust  or  other  substances  can

cause  the  insulation  to  break  and

consequently cause a fire.

•   Do not expose the device to water or

damp conditions. Ingress of water into

the device increases the risk of electric

shock. If the power cord is wet or water

has  entered  the  device,  unplug  it

immediately. If the device is connected

to a power socket and possible, turn

off the power at the electrical breaker

before  attempting  to  disconnect  the

power.  Be  careful  when  pulling  wet

cables from a live power source.

•   If the protective covers are removed

when  installing  (connecting)  the

electrical  device,  its  electrical  parts

must  not  be  accessible  to  the  user

after installation.
