SETUP menu
After pressing the SETUP button on the
remote control in stop mode, the Setup menu
appears on the TV screen with icons in the
following structure:
SETUP
GENERAL SETUP
AUDIO SETUP
DOLBY DIGITAL SETUP
VIDEO SETUP
PREFERENCES SETUP
Use the
b
/
B
direction buttons to select the
desired menu tab and use the
v
/
V
buttons
on the remote control to select the desired
menu item and press ENTER to confirm.
The Menu for the selected item is displayed.
You can also display the menu for the se-
lected item by pressing
B
. To return to the
higher Menu level, press
b
.
Press SETUP to turn off the Setup menu.
Warning:
Depending on your device model, the menu
items and their names may differ slightly.
This is caused by a constant updating of the
device software.
Note:
• If the item name is bland, the item is not
available. To access the setting of such an
item, stop performing any operation on the
DVD player (press
x
STOP twice).

a) TV DISPLAY:
Three display format
modes can be set: Normal/PS,
Normal/LB and Wide. Select the WIDE
picture format when connecting the
player to a wide-screen TV. If you have
a classic TV 4: 3, select NORMAL/PS
or NORMAL/LB.
b) ANGLE MARK:
You can set ON to
turn on the viewing angle mark or
OFF to turn off the viewing..
c) OSD LANG:
Set the language for the
on-screen display menu.
d) CAPTIONS:
You can set ON to turn
on the subtitle display for the hearing
impaired or OFF to turn off the subtitle
display.
e) SCREEN SAVER:
You can set ON
to turn on the screensaver or OFF to
turn off the screensaver. The screen
saver is displayed when the player is
stopped for about 5 minutes without
being operated.
