Disc playback
Disc playback
Depending on the DVD or VIDEO CD, some
functions may be different or unavailable.
See the instructions for the disc. Important
Notice:
The unit may not play some discs, depending
on the condition and the nature of the disc or
recording device on which it has been
recording to disk even if the disk is in one
of the supported formats. This is not a
malfunction.

Turn on the TV.

PInput signal switch on the TV

Turn on the device. The device
will switch from standby.

OPEN/CLOSE on the
unit or remote press OPEN/
CLOSE. The disc tray is
ejected. Insert the disc onto the
tray.

The disc tray retracts
and the unit starts playback
(Continuous play). Press MUTE to
mute the sound.
To restore the sound, press MUTE
again.
After performing step 5
Depending on the DVD, the DVD Menu may
appear on the TV screen. Programs can be
played interactively, following the instructions
in the Menu.
Turn off the device
Press POWER. The device turns off. Do not
turn off the unit by pressing POWER while
playing a disc. You can clear individual menu
settings. Press
x
STOP first to stop playback,
then press POWER.
