Notes on discs
Disk handling
• Hold the disc only at the edges to prevent
the disc surface from getting dirty. Do not
touch the surface of the disc.
• Do not attach anything to the surface of the
disc.
• Do not expose the disc to direct sunlight
or heat sources such as air conditioning
ducts, or leave the disc in a parked car in
the sun as the indoor temperature may rise
considerably.
• After playback, place the disc in its case.
Cleaning
• Clean the disc with a cleaning cloth before
playing.
Clean the disc from the center to the edges.
• Do not use solvents such as petrol, thinner,
commercially available cleaners, or
antistatic spray to clean vinyl LPs.

Support for Dolby® Digital audio output
The Dolby® Digital or DTS® audio data is
output to the integrated digital audio output
of the DVD player for sending to an external

/ 24Bit D / A converter for high-quality
reproduction of coded disc sound.
• 10-Bit, 27Mhz D / A Video Converter The
DVD player is equipped with a 10-bit D / A
converter that is 4 times more accurate
as common 8-bit converters. The result
is a perfectly clear image without mosaic
disturbance.
• Automatic conversion of video signals from
NTSC and PAL discs The player can play
discs in both NTSC and PAL. The player
can automatically convert the standard to
match your TV. E.g. if you own an NTSC TV
and watch a PAL disc, the DVD player will
automatically convert the PAL disc signal
to an NTSC signal to display the image
correctly on your TV.
